P&C Funds
Where does the P&C get its money from?
The P&C gets its money from a variety of P&C run activities and events during the year, and from voluntary contributions provided by families to support their children’s education.
Voluntary Contributions
The Voluntary Contribution Scheme is a bi-annual initiative run by the P&C to support the school. Voluntary Contributions are vital to ensure key programs, equipment and initiatives are maintained. The more contributions that are received, the more opportunities we have to invest in our children’s development and education. The Contribution scheme means there is less pressure during the year to fundraise, and more opportunity to focus on the community. We urge all families who attend the school to make this contribution, if possible, as it provides direct benefits to your children. Because the voluntary contribution scheme is run by the P&C, there is greater flexibility and control on how the money can be used.
Additional Fundraising
Money raised from P&C run events such as the Welcome Picnic & Party, Mothers and Fathers Day stalls, Parents Night or other major event, Movie Night, Sponsorship, Community Advertising, Mothers Day and Fathers Day stalls, Blokes Breakfast, Raffles, Entertainment Books and so on.
